From November 20 to 21, 2025 (local time), the first town hall meeting of the Relyans Max factory was held following the equity change.

On November 20, Mr. Steven Xie, Chairman of the company, visited Rochester Hills to engage with the team, which serves as the sales and R&D center for Relyans Max. During the meeting, Steven announced that new cold heading and AI screening equipment has been ordered and will soon arrive at the factory. This will enable the company to offer more competitive products and better localized services to customers and the market. Additionally, the company plans to further invest in laboratory facilities in Rochester Hills to enhance testing capabilities for ultra-high-strength bolts and critical engine bolts. He expressed his expectation for the sales team to better communicate the changes and developments at Relyans Max to customers.
On the 21st, a company-wide meeting was held at the Lapeer plant, where Chairman Steven Xie addressed the team. He commended Lapeer for achieving its best performance in the past three years during the month of October and shared the future direction of the plant as well as the support the team would receive.
He stated that the Lapeer plant is composed of an experienced and technically skilled team—a team that has previously achieved remarkable successes and glory, and one that has demonstrated resilience through many challenging times. With new investments and equipment, and through the team’s continued efforts, he expressed his expectation for Lapeer to grow stronger, more stable, and more future-ready, once again leading the industry and becoming a trusted partner for customers—a place we can all be proud of.

【History of Relyans Max】
It all began in 1939, in the basement of George Bailey Dupont's home in Royal Oak, Michigan. At the time, Dupont was an employee of the Lincoln Motor Car Company, manufacturing high-precision components for the aviation industry in his spare time.
Three years later, he founded his own company and built a plant in Troy, Michigan, which served as the company's headquarters for a long time. There, he began producing bolts for the American automotive industry. His first two customers were Ford and Chrysler. In 1947, Dupont became a supplier for General Motors and began cold-forming production, leading to rapid business growth and the manufacturing of more components.
In 1956, the company established a second plant in Lapeer, Michigan. Situated right next to the airport and owning several aircraft, the Dupont plant could deliver fasteners to any customer in the United States within 24 hours in case of an emergency.
In 1995, the Kamax Group acquired Dupont, which was later renamed Kamax Inc. The company continued to develop by incorporating German expertise and technology. After several years of operation, Kamax Inc. closed the Troy plant, consolidated its production operations into the Lapeer facility, and established a sales and R&D office in Rochester Hills.
In August 2025, the Hongji Group acquired all shares of Kamax Inc. from the Kamax Group, and the company was renamed Relyans Max Inc.
